»In Conversation with Nina Kirste«, in: Nina Kirste. Barragán. The Gospel of Serenity, edited by Nina Kirste, Galerie Stefan Vogdt, Munich, 2024.
Nina Kirste’s photobook Barragán. The Gospel of Serenity (2024), accompanying her exhibition Nina Kirste. Barragán (21.11.24–05.02.25) at Galerie Stefan Vogdt, explores the oeuvre of Mexican architect Luis Barragán (1902–1988) from a contemporary perspective. Advocating for a decelerated approach to his architectural sites, the featured conversation delves into Kirste’s visual deconstructions of architectural modernism, in which light, shadow, colour, and silence are integral components of spatial experience.
